Throughout sixty-years and three generations, Maginn Construction has been through many facets of the construction industry. These include single-family, multi-family, and commercial construction.

Carl R. Maginn was born on March 4, 1921, he served in WWII and started as a journeyman carpenter with the post-war housing boom in the San Fernando Valley. He did excavation, concrete work, framing, and finished carpentry. Carl then transitioned into construction of custom, single-family housing. In 1959 he started developing custom track housing, including entitlements, site development, design and construction. He also worked on multi-family projects.

Carl constructed more than 300 custom residences during his career and has two streets named after him in Glendale, California (Maginn Drive and Maginn Place).

Michael Maginn was born on September 2, 1954 in Glendale, California. He attended GCC, CSUN & LBCC studying Business, Civil Engineering & Architecture. He started business as a partner in Maginn & Breuer General Contractors in 1976. Mike has been involved in design and construction in single-family, multi-family, commercial, and mixed-use projects all over Los Angeles County.

Jeff Maginn was born on February 23, 1987 in Glendale, California. He graduated from CSUN with a bachelors degree in Construction Management. He worked for The Raymond Group in Orange County as a Project Engineer and for George C. Hopkins Construction as a Superintendent. He received his contractors license in 2010 and partnered with his dad Mike in 2016.

Carl, Mike, and Jeff all share a passion for boat racing, motorcycle racing, and building.
